Poseidon Workshop wood and nails galore |
Alpha Soloman loves making things, so he built up a Workshop for the wolves of Poseidon. You can often find him here. The cut wood has a comforting scent, but the drilling may just give you a headache.
Creature Sightings:
Note: Other creatures may appear in this area. Creature sightings is merely a list of who and what you are most likely to encounter.

it's not who i am underneath but what i do that defines me Soloman's expression was settled on the wood work. He was working on a bird feeder and just started cutting the boards to fit, though he would surly go back and cut some more off the boards. He could already tell they weren't exactly straight but would need to get the correct measurements first.
He wasn't one for creature interaction (he would deal with it when he had to) but animals were always something he liked. Some species even shared his own traits and to those species he felt a stronger pull towards. Canines would always be at the top of his list, Cerberus was the only living thing he would die for. Soloman glanced up as he saw the black beast slip inside the Workshop. "Hey there," He reached down to pat the dog's massive skull, "What're you doing?." The dog wagged his tail and looked up at Soloman as he laid down.
"Good boy." Soloman moved to grab a hammer and began nailing one of the boards into the base of the feeder. "Once I complete this you can't run these birds off okay?" He raised an eyebrow at the dog. "I'm pretty sure you ate some even. I found those feathers." He smirked at the dog and Cerber seemed to return his smirk in his own "canine-way".
After testing out the boards position it was known one of them wouldn't fit. Solo quickly cut the board and returned to nailing them back together. "What color would work for this.." He moved towards the cabinet that was full of paint and pulled out a dull red then returned to his work station.
He was focused on his work as he hammered the nails into the wood and began painting it once it was completed, Solo hadn't given the pack much thought during the time of him being in the shop. The shop stole all of his attention honestly. He was lost in his own little world here. Soloman held the small bird feeder in his hands as he finished painting it and sat it on a hanger to dry outside.
He returned inside and began rummaging through his older creations.. he could take some apart and recreate them into more interesting things. "Shit. I remember when I made this one," Solo paused as he grabbed a small wooden box with intricate outlines on the sides and sat it onto the table. "That was forever ago.. you must've been a puppy then." Cerber flicked his ears as he planted his two front paws on the table and nosed the box. "You were very small then, I'm sure you've noticed how obnoxiously big you've gotten though." He smirked and poked the dogs paw.
Soloman would carry on a conversation with the dog as if he was one of his own.. even though in a way Cerber was. He began prying the wooden sticks off the box and setting them down so he could examine their design better. Solo glanced up at the door as he heard footsteps. "I swear Cinder wanted to talk with me about something today.." There must of been something. Soloman had lost track of his time in the shop, and apparently, his train of thought. | out of character commentary | 556 words

Only Madness Knows My Name
A faint pitter patter of paws echoed outside the workshop, becoming louder as the figure drew near. The sound ceased for a moment and was then replaced by the click-clack of boots. Cinder had shifted into her human form upon reaching the door, opening it with a simultaneously graceful and purposeful movement. The raven-haired woman strode into the room, wincing as her eyes adjusted to the bright lights of the workshop.
"Huh, you're alive," Cinder smirked at Solomon, familiar with his habits of isolation and his fondness for the workshop. She sauntered over to a cooler, snatching two stout beers from its depths. "Humans have been poking around our borders again," she said with a twinge of irritation in her tone. She approached Solomon, placing one of the beers on the edge of the table for him in case he was interested. She cracked the other one open and sipped it leisurely.
"If a full moon weren't looming, I would've bit the insufferable brats," she growled.

Look for the girl with the broken smile tag: @cinder rose. words: #220 notes: NOTES HERE. Leaves and sticks crunched under Amelia's feet as she passed through the woods. She pulled one hand from the pocket of her jacket and raked her fingers through the tangles of her dark auburn hair. To her it felt like she had been walking forever, however, as she looked to the sky and the sun, she figured it could've been an hour at the most. She sniffed the air, scenting the slight moisture in the atmosphere. "Huh... I think it's going to rain today. Mother would've loved this weather." She sighed, shielding her eyes from the bright rays of light. She turned her attention back to the way she was headed. Soon the sounds of other creatures seemed to disappear as she thought of her parents, wondering why she herself hasn't tried to get back home to see them. Her hands balled up and she put them back into the pockets of her jacket, her eyes down cast to keep herself from tripping over upturned roots or large branches. Eventually in the distance she could hear something, and the top of a building. Curiosity got the best of her as her steps hurried towards the mystery building. She wondered who it belonged to, if anyone.

it's not who i am underneath but what i do that defines me "Huh, you're alive," He looked up in time to catch her smirk and he rolled his eyes playfully, in no way was that meant to be a negative comment directed at Soloman as he knew her too well. If anyone else had said that he would of put them in their place almost immediately after they spoke.
Soloman leaned against the wooden counter-top and glanced down at Cerber, “If I’m not alive you’ll never hear another sound out of that dog, maybe he would even go get someone to help me? I think it’s interesting what dogs do in their owners time of need.” He rubbed his thumb against his palm - something he often did in deep thought - and chuckled softly. “I’d get help for you, Cerber.” The man had an amazing bond with the dog… it was incredibly beautiful to see what these two misunderstood creatures saw in each other and it obviously was only the best things.
"Humans have been poking around our borders again," He was pulled from his deep thought and sighed as he watched the beer be placed near his reach. Soloman stretched out his hand and grabbed the cold beverage in his hand, twisting the cap off he took a sip every now and then. "If a full moon weren't looming, I would've bit the insufferable brats," Soloman smirked and pointed the beer at her. “I don’t blame you, humans seem to be so curious to the point where they walk right in front of trouble.”
While Soloman was carrying on a conversation with Cinder he noticed Cerber become more alert and walk up to the door growling. “What is it?” As he sat down the beer he ventured over to the door only to open it up and glance outside. “Did anyone follow you here?” He questioned her and glanced back at Cinder. | out of character commentary | 335 words

Look for the girl with the broken smile tag: @cinderrose @solomontolk. words: 336. outfit. notes: NOTES HERE. Getting closer to the edge of the woods Amelia paused for a moment. Face palming she had forgotten quickly she was going to search for people. That this could be someone's home, and from the look of it, it definitely confirmed in her mind that it is. Rubbing her now slightly red face she took cover behind a tree. As she did, her ears caught the sound of something moving. She took a sniff of the air as the wind blew past gently. Her nerves jumped a bit at the new scents hitting her. She closed her eyes and thought to herself, trying to keep the nervous energy away. Her heart jumped as she turned, forcing herself to continue her walk. With each step she took she lowered her shoulders more, feeling the need to make herself look even smaller than she is to seem non-threatening. "Please don't let them be angry..." She mumbled to herself.

Only Madness Knows My Name
The raven-haired woman shook her head as Solomon inquired if she'd been followed. With one last swig, she finished off her drink and approached Solomon and Cerber at the doorway. "I'm not that careless, but we've seemed to catch someone's curiosity." Cinder closed her eyes, tilting her nose upwards and inhaling deeply. Her sharp senses sifted through the various scents floating in the atmosphere until she found one that was unfamiliar. "Hmm, they're not human," she remarked.
The beta slipped through the doorway, shifting into her lycan form as she did so. She mulled over the stranger's scent a second time and a mischievous gleam shone in her icy blue eyes. "My, my, a werewolf." She exchanged a glance with Solomon before bolting off to intercept the newcomer. Cinder whipped across the field like a bullet, narrowing in on the scent. She dug her heels into the earth, coming to an abrupt halt as she crossed paths with Amelia. A low growl rose in her throat, warning the woman to remain put. Cinder began to circle Amelia, both to study her and prevent her from running off so that Solomon could address her.

Look for the girl with the broken smile tag: @cinderrose @solomontolk. words: 120. outfit. notes: NOTES HERE. Amelia froze in her movement as she heard the grass moving, one scent getting closer. Her eyes looked up to meet with those of the wolf in front of her. She eyed it carefully, taking a deep breath, but never letting go of eye contact. Slowly she pulled her hands out of the pockets, and held them up in a surrender. As the wolf growled and began to circle her, a feeling of uncertainty sat deep in her abdomen, but also a realization hit her. The scent that had seemed just a tab familiar clicked in her mind. "You're a werewolf."
